The professional abilities of normal university students include four aspects:ethical practice ability,teaching practice ability,comprehensive education ability,and self-development ability.The professional abilities of normal university students are closely related to their discipline literacy and pedagogical literacy.In this paper,in view of several issues on cultivating the teacher's professional abilities of the normal university students,some approaches of cultivating the teacher's professional abilities of the normal university students are put forward.Especially,the training of the practical teaching abilities and the evaluating regulations of entry qualifications of education practice are introduced in detail.The aim of these practices is to enhance the competitiveness of employment of the normal university students and promote the high-quality development of education.
