New Urbanization and Path Optimization in Former Revolutionary Areas of West Fujian
West Fujian is the core area of the former Central Soviet Area,and its new urbanization development is typical in the urbanization development of former revolutionary areas across the country.Based on the connotation and essence of new urbanization,a new urbanization evaluation index system for counties in the former revolutionary areas of West Fujian was constructed.Factor analysis and cluster analysis were used to systematically evaluate and classify the level of new urbanization in the former revolutionary areas of West Fujian.The results indicate that Xinluo District has the highest level of new urbanization,with Yongding District and Zhangping City in the middle,followed by Changting County,Wuping County,Liancheng County,and Shanghang County.Further cluster analysis is consistent with this result.To accelerate the development of new urbanization in the former revolutionary areas of West Fujian,it is necessary to promote orderly population flow and enhance urban carrying capacity,to optimize industrial structure and develop in a differentiated manner according to local conditions,to improve the public service system and promote equalization of basic public services between urban and rural areas,and to accelerate the construction of information infrastructure and promote the development of digital economy.
