Research on the Method of Scenic Route Design Based on the Virtual Behavior Experiment
Scenic route design is of great value for improving the tourist experience and enhancing the planning and management level of scenic spots, and has always been a hot issue for the tourism industry and academia. As the core task of tourism planning, scenic route design is of great significance for improving the quality of tourism products.Under the constraints of tourist route attractiveness, time, and capital, how to maximize the benefits of the tourism experience is the core issue of scenic route design.Based on the virtual geography experiment and the principle of best tourism benefit, this study designed the experimental scenes by taking the time adjustment of performing arts programs in scenic spots as the entry point, and adopted the virtual behavior experiment method to explore new ideas and methods of scenic route design in scenic spots.Taking the space scene and performing arts programs of the Millennium City Park as an example, experimental research was carried out.First, the virtual scenic spots were built by using Unity-3D,3D-MAX,CityEngine,and other software based on virtual reality technology and human-computer interaction technology. Then, two differentiated experimental scenes were designed by adjusting the performance time of scenic spots considering factors such as tourism preference, time constraints, and scenic program schedule.Experimental scene 1 was consistent with the schedule of the real scenic spot program.According to the principle of best tourism benefit(minimum travel time ratio and maximum information collection),experimental scene 2 was designed by adjusting the time of the performing arts programs to reduce travel time ratio, waiting time, and round-trip frequency, and to watch more performing arts programs.Furthermore, during the implementation phase of the experiment, subjects were recruited to ensure that they were familiar with the experimental content, were proficient in using the experimental equipment, and experienced the two experimental scenes in turn. Finally, the social network analysis model and spatio-temporal analysis methods were used to evaluate scenic routes. The results show that in the virtual tourism scene, tourists still pursue the goal of minimum travel time ratio and maximum information collection. In the performing arts program optimization scene, indicators such as travel time ratio, program viewing completeness, and viewing rate are better than in the real program scene.Through the analysis of social networks and the spatial-temporal behavior characteristics of tourists,we can not only analyze the internal relationship of tourists'choice of scenic spots but also analyze the objective behavior characteristics of tourists'experience of each scenic spot,to determine the rationality of the design of performing arts programs in the virtual behavior experiment. The virtual behavior experiment method is feasible and reasonable in scenic route design. This study not only enriched the theoretical methods of scenic route design, but also expanded the research field of human-land relationship in the virtual space of tourism geography, providing a practical reference for improving the planning and management level of scenic spots.
