THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF MASSAGE COMBINED WITH ACUPUNCTURE ON CERVICAL SPONDYLOTIC RADICULOPATHY
Objective To explore the treatment of CSR.Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with CSR were retrospectively collected and divided into two groups with 40 cases in each group according to different treatment methods.The control group received Chinese traditional acupuncture,while the obser-vation group was treated with Chinese traditional massage in addition to acupuncture.The clinical effect as well as the improvement in major symptom scores,pain degree and cervical spine function of the two groups was compared.Results The effective rate in the observation group was 95%,which was higher than that in the control group(77.5%)(χ2=5.17,P=0.023).The improvement in main symptom score,pain degree and cervical spine function in the observation group after treatment were better than those in the control group(t=8.45-18.55,P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese traditional massage combined with Chinese traditional acupuncture can produce better clinical effect in treating CSR patients.
