Objective To observe the application effect of VMAT in locally advanced cervical cancer.Methods The clinical data of 135 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer were retrospectively collect-ed and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods:70 VMAT cases and 65 IMRT cases.The target volume dose was planned to be 50.4Gy,and the target parameters,organ dose at risk,treatment time,short-term efficacy,acute adverse reactions and Overall Survival(OS)were compared be-tween the two groups.Results CI value in VMAT group was higher than that in IMRT group(t=2.04,P=0.04),and treatment time was shorter than that in IMRT group(t=30.57,P<0.001).There was no statistical significance in other indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with IMRT,VMAT has better conformation and can clearly shorten the treatment time of locally advanced cer-vical cancer patients.
