THE ROLE OF ER AND HER2 EXPRESSION IN ELDERLY BREAST CANCER IN SITU
Objective To explore the distribution and role of ER and HER2 in elderly patients with breast cancer in situ. Methods Retrospective collection of clinical data from 36 elderly patients with breast cancer in situ.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of ER,HER2,Ki67,and P53 in tumor tissues, and the correlation between the expression of these molecules and the clinical characteristics of patients was analyzed. Results The expression of ER and HER2 in situ cancer tissues was significantly different from that in surrounding normal tissues, and their expression levels were correlated with histo-logical grading, postoperative recurrence,Ki67,and P53 expression in situ cancer tissues(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of ER and HER2 is significantly different in elderly breast cancer in situ with different pathological features, and their expression levels are closely related to patient prognosis.
