为了解决芜湖新兴铸管有限责任公司炼钢厂SWRCH35K冷镦钢铸坯枝晶组织粗大和碳偏析波动等问题,利用上海大学先进凝固技术中心研发并已工业化应用多年的脉冲磁致振荡(Pulsed Magneto-Oscillation,简称PMO)凝固均质化技术,对该钢种连铸工序进行凝固过程干预.在未改变现有连铸工艺条件前提下对SWRCH35K冷镦钢生产过程施加PMO,铸坯柱状晶向等轴晶转变(CET)过程提前进行,一次枝晶细化明显,径向碳偏析指数最大值由1.12下降至1.06,极差值由0.184下降至0.121.该结果表明,PMO可在现有连铸工艺条件下提高SWRCH35K冷镦钢铸坯综合质量.
Effect of PMO on dendrite structure and carbon segregation of cast billet of SWRCH35K cold heading steel
In order to solve steel SWRCH35K cold heading steel slab dendritic structure fluctuation problem such as bulky and carbon segregation of the Wuhu Xinxing Pipes Co.,Ltd.,using advanced solidification technology named Pulsed Magneto-Oscillation,PMO invented by Center of Advanced Solidification Technology of Shanghai University which has developed for many years to intervene the solidification process in the continuous casting process of the steel.When PMO is applied to SWRCH35K cold heading steel without changing the existing continuous casting process conditions,the cylindrical to equiaxed crystal transformation(CET)process is advanced,the primary den-drite refining is obvious,the maximum radial carbon segregation index decreases from 1.12 to 1.06,and the range value decreases from 0.184 to 0.121.The results show that PMO can improve the overall quality of SWRCH35K cold heading steel billet under the existing continuous casting process conditions.
