The combination of Marxist philosophy originating in the Western cultural context with China's social development realities and Chinese culture,represents a process of fusion of heterogeneous cultures.The thought of such a combination proposed by Xi Jinping has advanced the creative application and in-novative development of Marxist philosophy,marking a new historical milestone in its sinicization.Being the philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,Xi Jinping's thought on Marxist philosophy for a New Era is combined with China's realities and fine traditional culture and enriches and develops Marxist philosophy through dialectical materialism,methodol-ogy and historical materialism,creating a new historical form of its sinicization.Meanwhile,this combina-tion realizes the fusion of horizons of heterogeneous cultures in socialist revolution and construction.In this way,the scientific truth of Marxism has been fused into the fine traditional Chinese culture,which has diminished cultural heterogeneity of Marxism and presented the spirit and value of modern Chinese phi-losophy,thus creating a sinicized Marxist philosophical discourse system with Chinese style.
