Innovations in the Socialist Market Economy System Initiated at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee
The innovative development of the socialist market economic system launched by the Communist Party of China has been vital for China's historic achievements in economy since the Reform and Opening-up.Based on an analysis of the innovative ideas on the socialist market economic system initiated at the six"third plenary sessions"and their contributions in history,the present paper reviews the whole process of the System from its establishment to the high-quality development.It further focuses on the strategies of constructing the high-level socialist market economic system stated in the"Resolution of the Central Commit-tee of the Communist Party of China on Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively to Advance Chinese Modernization"of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Chi-na,positing that the high-standard socialist market economic system will be a natural result of this system's transformation and upgrading,propelled by the new quality productive forces and the construction of a strong,modern socialist country.The innovative ideas articulated in the Resolution about the System in targeting positioning,macro and micro market economy systems,fundamental conditions and institutions are not only the essence of the high-standard socialist market economy system,but also the guarantee of building such a system.
