Developing new quality productive forces(NQPF)is the intrinsic requirement and an important focus of advancing high-quality development,while the"new arenas"of economic development spurred by technological revolution serve as key drivers.At present,a new round of technological revolution is burgeon-ing,providing China with historic opportunities to develop NQPF on the"new arenas."The core of NQPF lies in achieving a qualitative leap in productive forces through technological innovation and efficient alloca-tion of production factors,which is directly reflected in the improvement of total factor productivity(TFP).Improving the innovative allocation of production factors via"creative destruction"is the underlying logic how technological revolution drives the development of NQPF via the"new arenas."Based on development trends of the new arenas,the development of NQPF can center on the two strategic axes:digitalization and low-carbon transition.This will add new impetus into economic growth,open up new fields,and empower the transformation and upgrade traditional industries.To seize opportunities and ensure productive forces to evolve on the right track,it is necessary to establish a new type of productive relations aligning with the de-velopment of NQPF.The advantages of market information and government organization efficiencies can al-so be taken to optimize the combination of production factors,and advance technological innovation and in-dustrial upgrading.
