Based on geographic information system and land use data,the land use changing process and its relationship to the ecosystem service value in Lanzhou New Area from 2010 to 2020 were ana-lyzed,and the results showed that from 2010 to 2020,the areas of cultivated land,forest land,grassland and unused land decreased by 143.81,13.87,108.39 and 8.26 km2 respectively,and construction land and water area increased by 272.23 and 2.10 km2 respectively.Land use changes were relatively large,of which the growth rate of construction land was the fastest;grasslands had the largest share of contribution to the ecosystem service value with the highest sensitivity;regulation services dominated the service val-ue.Land use changes were the main reason for the changes in the ecosystem service value.The analysis showed that the rapid urbanization process and economic development policies of Lanzhou New Area had been important driving factors for the evolution of land use's spatiotemporal pattern.
