A wide-range adjustable reactor was studied, based on single-phase pulse-width modulation rectification technology and on the second-order generalized integral algorithm,to construct virtual quadrature components, and the dq current decoupling control algorithm was used for double-loop con-trol so that the alternating current side current hysteresis voltage was 90° to realize the operation mode of the adjustable reactor. The simulation results showed that the proposed adjustable reactor could obtain comprehensive inductive reactance regulation, wide working voltage range, wide operating current range, and wide power range, which is expected to be widely used in more and larger fields.
