The changes of ecological environment quality in Qilian Mountain National Park based on the improved model of remote sensing ecological index
Based on the Google Earth Engine platform and using Landsat TM/OLI remote sensing imag-ery as the primary data source,we employed an improved remote sensing ecological index(RSEI)model to reveal ecological environment quality changes in Qilian Mountain National Park from 1988 to 2020.The geographical detector method was introduced to evaluate the contribution of influencing factors. The results showed that improved RSEI model,by avoiding interference from feature vector direc-tions,better reflects ecological environment quality conditions.Over the past 30 years, the park's RSEI has shown an overall upward trend with fluctuations, indicating an overall improvement in ecological en-vironment quality. The quality exhibits a"high in the east, low in the west"distribution pattern. The eco-logical environment quality predominantly showed no significant change(70.13%)or improvement(25.90%).Slight degradation and significant degradation accounted for 2.19%and 1.78%respectively,mainly distributed in the northwestern part of the park within Subei Mongol Autonomous County.Forest and shrub ecosystems experienced overall stable improvement in ecological environment quality, while grasslands and deserts mainly remained stable.Dryness, heat, and greenness were identified as key factors influencing ecological environment quality.Their interactions all demonstrated bi-factor enhance-ment and nonlinear enhancement, with the strongest interactive factor combinations being dryness-heat and heat-greenness.
