On the Influence of Material Characteristics of Automotive Brake Friction Pair on Interface Contact Based on Abaqus
This paper studies the influence of material characteristics friction pair on the surface contact state by using Abaqus finite element simulation software.The thermal coupling of the friction interface is analyzed by con-structing a contact model between gray cast iron brake disc and semi-metal friction plate based on temperature change.The results show that the high temperature distribution of the brake disc and the friction disc is similar,the inner temperature is higher than the outer temperature,the temperature of the brake disc raises first and then declines,the friction disc maintains the platform distribution after reaching the highest value,and the outer side of the brake disc presents the highest displacement distribution and stress distribution.The experimental results pro-vide theoretical basis for material design of friction system in the future.
