Analysis of the Narrative Discourse in Chinese and English Films from the Perspective of National Cultural Inheritance
National culture is the foundation of a country.In recent years,the way of inheriting national culture is changing constantly,more and more national culture and national spirit are deeply rooted in people's hearts through films.Taking Darkest Hour and Nezha:Birth of the Demon Child,two representative works with strong national cultural characteristics as examples,this paper blends the the characteristics of times into historical and mythological stories and analyzes the reconstruction of characters,cultural rewriting and construction of national consciousness through textual narrative discourse.The difference in narrative techniques of the two films reflects the different attitudes of different countries towards different ethnic cultures under the background of globalization and the new situation that the inheritance of various ethnic cultures is facing in the contemporary context.
