Democratic Rights of the People:The Theoretical Theme of Mao's Thought on People's Democracy in Pre-Marxism Period(1906-1920)
Mao Zedong's thought and practice on People's Democracy,as a valuable leading resource both for theory and practice,played a crucial role in the development of the people's democracy of the CCP.In the perspective of intellectual history,a systematic research and illustration of the involution,contents and characteristics of Mao's thought on people's democracy is significant to the contemporary development of people's democracy.As an important beginning,the first stage of Mao's thought on people's democracy,from 1906 to 1920,which could be named as the Pre-Marxism Period in the whole intellectual history of Mao's thought of people's democracy,and characterized by the theoretical theme Democratic Rights of the People,evidently marked the time spirit and theoretical essence of this thought.Both of the value foundation and of the theoretical idea of Mao's thought on people's democracy,was clearly identified even in its initiative stage.
