Strategy of Actively Responding to Population Aging:International Experience and Its Enlightenment to China
The international community has formulated and implemented major strategies to actively respond to population aging,with the goal of achieving"healthy aging"and"active aging".Its strategic priorities are improving and promoting the health of older people,encouraging their labor and social participation,and enhancing their well-being.A series of strategic plans and legal systems have been promulgated and implemented,and a batch of strategic fruits with high practical value and reference significance have been achieved,which are of great enlightening significance for China in implementing its national strategy of actively responding to population aging,promoting intergenerational harmony,revitalizing economic and social development,and enhancing national population security and international competitiveness.At present and in the near future,China should strengthen policy formulation in key areas such as health,participation and security of the elderly,in order to implement its national strategy of actively responding to population aging,and create favorable conditions for achieving the second centenary goal.
