Jiang Zilong made pioneering contributions to the reform literature of the late 1970s and early 1980s.He used novels such as"Director Qiao's Appointment"to showcase the fervent desire for change,as well as the possibility and necessity of reform,on the land of China,typical and concentrated,thus opening the curtain of reform literature.The influence of Jiang Zilong's reform novels went beyond the scope of literature and expanded to the social level,participating in and promoting the process of national reform.At the 2018 celebration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council awarded Jiang Zilong the title of"Pioneer of Reform"and praised him as a representative of"Reform Literature"writers.Regardless of the level of research on reform literature,Jiang Zilong and his creations are an unavoidable existence,and he has become a symbol of reform literature to some extent.By systematically analyzing Jiang Zilong's literary creations and examining their stylistic features,we can gain an overall understanding of reform literature and grasp the changing trends of Chinese society during the transitional era.
