In order to reduce the roadway excavation workload and effectively control the deformation of the surrounding rock of the road-way.Taking the arch height,roadway width and roadway height of the arched roadway as the research variables,the L16(34)three-factor four-level orthogonal simulation experiment was used to study the deformation of the surrounding rock and the area of the plastic zone after roadway excavation based on FLAC3D numerical simulation.The results show that:the arch height is negatively correlated with the area of the plastic area of the surrounding rock of the roadway roof and positively correlated with the failure of the roadway,and the opti-mal combined roadway section parameters are 4.5 m wide,3 m high and 1 m arch height.Compared with the original plan,the area of the plastic zone of the rectangular roadway of the straight wall arch roadway is reduced by 35.07%,the subsidence of the roof is reduced by 19.2%,and the amount of the two gangs is reduced by 22.4%,and the damage range of the plastic zone of the surrounding rock can be effectively reduced after the optimization of the roadway section,which is conducive to the long-term stability of the roadway.
