Was Marx a sociologist at all?There were two different views between Western Marxism and Western sociology.Based on the understanding and analysis of totality,Lefebvre did not agree that Marx was a sociologist.On the contrary,although there were some differences among western sociologists in Marx's re-search themes and thoughts,they agreed that Marx had a strong affinity with sociology from the perspective of social change.So Marx was a typical sociologist.
