Strengthening the ideological safety education of college students is not only the strategic re-quirement to maintain the development of national ideology,but also the key means to effectively resist the in-vasion of western undesirable thoughts and ideology,and is a necessary measure to train qualified builders and reliable successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.With the rapid progress of new media technology,ideological education has gained unprecedented opportunities,but it is also faced with great challen-ges and long-term tasks.We need to seize these opportunities,formulate corresponding strategies,actively face various challenges,clarify the current actual situation,and ensure the effectiveness of ideological safety educa-tion for Chinese college students.
