Research on the Current Situation and Development Trend of Engineering Education Professional Certification in China
This paper makes a statistical analysis of the data of undergraduate majors that have passed the engineering education certification and the engineering education professional certification papers published in core journals and CSSCI journals over the years.The results show that:the professional certification of engineering education in China started from the civil engineering professional certification in 1995,and then the types of majors participating in the professional certification and the number of majors passing the certification are increasing year by year;The related research has experienced three stages:introduction and enlightenment of foreign certification system,learning and practice of certification concept,formulation of China's certification standards and research on specific certification issues;The journals of higher engineering education research and Chinese university teaching have great influence and high quality in this field;At present,the main research contents are the teaching reform of practical teaching and personnel training for higher engineering education certification;At present,the research frontiers and focus are complex engineering problems,achievement oriented education,experimental teaching,teaching reform and new engineering.The research institutions and authors in this field are mainly from colleges and universities,and no influential research institutions have been formed yet.The cooperation between institutions needs to be strengthened.
