Bioinformatics Analysis of IL-10 Protein in Wapiti
The nature, structure and function of interleukin-10(IL-10)protein in wapiti(Cervus canadensis)were studied by using bioinformatics software.Wapiti IL-10 protein is closely related to cattle(Bos taurus)and sheep(Ovis aries),but far from mouse(Mus musculus)and rat(Rattus norvegicus).Interacting proteins include interleukin-10 receptor subunit α,interleukin-10 receptor subunit β,tumor necrosis factor, interferon gamma,CD4 molecules,interleukin-17A,interleukin-8,etc.The results indicated that wapiti IL-10 protein is involved in the positive regulation of calcitadiol 1-monooxygenase activity, receptor biosynthesis, the production of helper T cytokine 1 and the regulation of outer domain proteolysis of membrane protein.Wapiti IL-10 protein may be associated with the pathogenesis of tuberculosis through the role of inflammation.
