Optimizing the prescription of Shangtong gel plaste by Plackett-Burman design combined with Box-Be-hnken response surface methodology
Objective To optimize the prescription of Shangtong gel plaster. Methods Based on single-factor experiments, the Plackettt-Burman design combined with the Box-Behnken response surface methodology was employed to optimize the matrix ratio of the Shangtong gel plaster, using sensory evaluation, initial adhesion, and sustained adhesion as comprehensive evaluation indicators for the Shangtong gel plaster. Results The optimal formulation of Shangtong gel plaster was as following:NP-700(2.82 g),aluminum gly-cyrrhizinate(0.15 g),glycerol(11.02 g),PVPK90(2.50 g),kaolin(0.50 g)and tartaric acid(0.14 g).Conclusion The optimized Shangtong gel plaster exhibits good adhesion and molding properties, along with good compliance, facilitating its clinical promotion and use.
