Lightweight design of aluminum tube based on reverse engineering
Aluminum cylinder is an important part of the motorcycle front shock absorber,which not only supports the body,but also has the function of oil storage.In this paper,the reverse engineering technology is used to realize the lightweight design of the alu-minum cylinder by optimizing the cross-section shape,and the overall performance of the motorcycle is improved.Firstly,a high-pre-cision three-dimensional model of aluminum cylinder is established by reverse engineering technology.Then,according to the main characteristics of aluminum cylinder and the manufacturing process,three sections are designed,and the moment of inertia of each section is calculated.The lightweight design of aluminum tube structure is completed under the condition of keeping the cross-sec-tional area unchanged and bending strength unchanged respectively.
