Adjustment practical for abnormal condition of coking wastewater treatment via A2O process
In view of the abnormal condition that the activated sludge was inhibited by the sulfide in the incoming water during the operation of the biochemical section of the wastewater treatment of a coking plant, resulting in the mass concentration of ammonia nitrogen at the outlet of the aerobic tank rising to about 30 mg/L,the system was restored to its normal operation by adjusting the operating load, adding municipal sludge, controlling the pH value of the incoming water, and adjusting the reflux ratio, water treatment capacity and other operating parameters.Under the working conditions of 60 m3/h treatment volume,80 mg/L-100 mg/L mass concentration of ammonia nitrogen in the incoming water, the additive amount of diluted water≤10 m3/h,and the water temperature of the system at 32℃-37℃,the ammonia nitrogen content of the water sample at the outlet of the aerobic tank was 0,and the average mass concentration of nitrite nitrogen was 0.058 mg/L,pH was 7.0-7.5,and alkalinity was 250 mg/L-350 mg/L.
