Optimization study on gas collecting structure of multi-stage moving-bed retort furnace
To investigate the influence of the internal gas collection structure of the moving-bed dry retort furnace on the gas escape rate,a cold simulation test device for the moving bed was constructed using low-rank crushed coal in northern Shaanxi as the experimental object. The flow distribution ratio of gas in each layer was measured at different intake flow rates, and the effect of adding gas collection structures at different positions on gas distribution was studied. The results showed that after the gas entered the moving bed through the gas distribution umbrella,10%of the gas could not flow out through the gas collection main umbrella, and the leakage from the discharge port led to gas escape.Adding a layer of gas collection umbrella at 0.6 m and 1.2 m below the air distribution umbrella and at 0.6 m above the main gas collection umbrella respectively, the proportion of gas leakage could be reduced. When adding two layers of gas collection umbrellas in the upper and middle or middle and lower parts simultaneously, the air leakage ratio could be reduced to 0.When the pressure difference between the middle gas collection umbrella and the main umbrella increased from 0 Pa to 80 Pa,the air leakage rate increased from 2.80%to 5.22%.When designing the furnace structure, considerations should be given to reduce the resistance loss along the way or add a gas collection channel.
