Study on resolving coking flue gas condensation-induced blockage with coupled organic heat carrier waste heat boiler and phase change heat exchanger
The impurities such as NH4HSO4 in coke oven flue gas would not only cause blockage and corrosion of the waste heat boiler, but also cause harm to the operation of the downstream energy-saving and environmental protection equipment, directly affecting the enterprise economic benefits and stable equipment operation.Through analysis of the mechanism of NH4HSO4 formation,a process design coupling organic heat carrier waste heat boiler and phase change heat exchanger was proposed to replace traditional waste heat boiler to increase the wall temperature of flue gas heat exchange surface and reduce the risk of flue gas acid corrosion and blockage. After a coking plant applied this process for the transformation, the system achieved safe and stable operation, resulting in direct economic benefits of 9.1 million yuan annually.
