Research on corrosion characteristics of heating furnace tube in residue hydrogenation reactor
The heating furnace tubes of residue hydrogenation reactor were prone to corrosion in the high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments. The influence of different component changes in the fuel gas of the heating furnace on the corrosion rate of the furnace tubes was studied using the coupon experiment method, and measures to alleviate corrosion were proposed. The results showed that the corrosion rate of steel gradually increased with the increase of H2S partial pressure and then tended to stabilize. It showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing with the increase of CO2 partial pressure.H2S was the main corrosion factor in the system, and the total pressure of the system had little impact on the corrosion rate. The increase of Cl-content had a greater impact on the corrosion rate. Before feeding the fuel gas into the heating furnace,pre-treatment should be carried out to control the content of H2S and CO2,and to remove Cl-from the water vapor as much as possible, which could effectively alleviate steel corrosion.
