Study on different properties of tamping coke in Heilongjiang Province
Exploring the impact of performance differences of tamping coke was of great significance for improving the blast furnace production efficiency and reducing the coke ratio.Four kinds of tamped coke from Heilongjiang Province were selected for comparative study and analysis from the aspects of macroscopic quality index,microscopic structure,pore structure and high temperature reactivity,etc.The results showed that the pore structure of tamping coke in the same region was greatly influenced by the coal blending and coking system of the enterprise.The coke with high embedded structure content in the optical texture had higher strength after reaction.The thermal properties of coke tested as per national standard method were insufficient in evaluating the application of tamping coke in the blast furnace production.The particle size retention ability of coke after high temperature reaction was a key indicator affecting the application of coke in the blast furnace.
