Experimental study on defluorinating agent HJ-DF-07 used for advanced treatment of fluorine-containing wastewater in coal chemical industry
An experimental study was made on using self-developed defluorinating agent HJ-DF-07 for advanced defluorination of fluorine-containing wastewater in coal chemical industry. The defluorination effect of several common defluorinating agents and HJ-DF-07 was compared. The impacts of pH value of wastewater, reaction time and dosage of HJ-DF-07 in two-stage defluorination process on the fluorine removal rate of HJ-DF-07 were investigated. The results showed that the removal rate of fluoride ions by HJ-DF-07 was about 20% higher than that by other defluorinating agents. The optimal operating conditions were as follows:The pH value was 10.37,the reaction time was 10 min,the dosage of defluorinating agent in the two-stage defluorination process was 3.0 mL/L and 2.0 mL/L,respectively,and the corresponding primary and secondary fluoride removal rates were 81.74% and 92.82%,respectively.The final fluoride ion concentration in the effluent of the secondary defluorination unit could be reduced to 0.976 mg/L,and the total fluorine removal rate could reach 98.69% .
