Research progress on coal-based mesophase pitch and its industrialization development
Mesophase pitch shows a characteristic of obvious anisotropy,low cost and broad source of raw materials.It has been widely used in the preparation of advanced materials in aerospace,military supplies and other cutting-edge fields.There is plenty of coal in China and the supply of coal pitch is sufficient.Mesophase pitch made from coal pitch shows a good application prospect.The composition and structure of coal pitch were introduced,and the refining methods of coal pitch and the preparation process of coal-based mesophase pitch were reviewed.The industrialization development progress and current status of coal-based mesophase pitch at home and abroad was analyzed.
