Comparative analysis of radiant syngas cooler process and quenching process of coal to synthetic ammonia dry pulverized coal gasification technology
There were multiple options for different process flows and technical routes in the gasification technology of coal to synthetic ammonia.Based on the actual operating data of the hydrogen production upgrading and by-product ammonia project of Zhejiang Baling Hengyi Caprolactam Co.,Ltd.,the energy utilization and effective thermal efficiency of radiant syngas cooler process pulverized coal gasification technology and quenching process pulverized coal gasification technology under the same pressure were compared and analyzed.The results showed that for gasification units of the same scale,the radiant syngas cooler process saved 9.64%energy compared with the quenching process,and the effective thermal efficiency increased from 91.89%of the quenching process to 96.08%,providing a new technological choice for the energy conservation,carbon reduction and upgrading in the synthetic ammonia industry.
