Experimental study on pyrolysis characteristics of high-sulfur oil shale in Yankuang Energy
To obtain optimal pyrolys is conditions for high-sulfur oil shale, the impacts of final pyrolysis temperature, heating rate, reaction time and reaction atmosphere on the pyrolysis characteristics of high-sulfur oil shale were studied through a tubular furnace pyrolysis test device. The results showed that the final pyrolysis temperature was the main factor determining the yield of shale oil and the composition of pyrolysis gas.The optimal reaction conditions were final pyrolysis temperature of 540℃,heating rate of 5℃/min,and reaction time of 30 min-60 min.The yield of shale oil had significantly increased under the H2 atmosphere, and the pyrolysis atmosphere of H2 and CO2 could promote the decomposition of organic matter in oil shale, resulting in a much lower sulfur content in shale semi-coke compared to that under the N2 atmosphere.
