Moldflow analysis of automobile door panel plastics based on Moldflow
Taking an automobile door panel plastics moulding as an example, the gate loca?tion and moulding process were analyzed by using Moldflow software. The simulation analy?sis was made on the filling process such as filling, holding pressure, weld line, cooling andwarpage which could predict the moulding defects of the plastics. According to the mold?flow analysis results, the reasonable mould structure was designed and used to guide theproduction of plastic parts.
