Research on forging process of YZGH4169 drum shaft
In response to the problem of difficulty in forging of YZGH4169 drum shaft,an optimiza-tion plan for YZGH4169 drum shaft forging has been formulated.The process trial production was carried out by optimizing the drum shaft forging process,intermediate billet,forging die design,and finite element software numerical simulation.The results showed that the forging process of the drum shaft was ensured.The pass rate of forging was improved and the material utilization rate and the service life of the forging die and forging efficiency was improved,the forging process and the production cost was reduced.The shape,size,mechanical properties,hardness,and flaw detec-tion of the forgings all met the specified technical requirements.
