Structural adjustment of solvent casting die inlet section and the rheological behavior analysis
Aiming at the problem that the traditional round tube casting die was not conducive to the uniform distribution of slurry in the manifold, resulting in poor film production,a fishtail split structure was proposed.By using Simdroid 3D simulation design software, the fluid simulation analysis of the inlet section of the casting die with different structures was carried out,and the ex-trusion rate and cloud image were compared. The results showed that the deviation of the average extrusion rate was as high as 166.1%before the slurry entering the setting section in the traditional solvent casting die,but the deviation of the average extrusion rate was reduced to 19.2%after ad-justing the structure and position of the fishtail shunt cone, which made the fluid formed a film with uniform thickness and good density after being extruded by the fishtail shunt cone.
