Stiffness and strength numerical analysis of car body joint
In order to study the feasibility of aluminum structure instead of steel structure in car body,proposed a T-shaped standard analysis model of stiffness and strength of car body joint.The effect of different joint types and different weld quality of stiffness and strength were studied by numerical analysis.The results showed that the comprehensive stiffness and strength performance of four joint analysis model from best to worst are rectangular end joint,vertical channel end joint,chute type end joint,angle end joint respectively.The stiffness increases by weld fillet radius increasing,and the effect of weld fillet radius on joint strength is not distinct.
