Research on the application of digital technology in the design of new forms of mold for folk figure sculpture
The author proposes a new form of sculpture mold design method that inherits the traditional style of character sculpture design through the application characteristics of digital technology in folk character sculpture.Taking specific case studies of character sculpture as the research object,innovation in the form of sculpture movements was achieved,and through additive manufacturing,the production of its model was completed,shortening the design and development cycle of folk character sculpture in the traditional mold turning stage,and verifying its feasibility.
