Failure analysis and optimization design of coating rollers for high-speed coilers
In order to solve the problem of fracture at the stepped shaft connection when the coating roller is rotating at high speed, the reliability analysis of the coating roller is carried out.Through theoretical calculations and finite element simulation analysis, the maximum shear stress at the connection where the diameter of the shaft cross-section is 110 mm is 304.3-417.4 MPa,which belongs to the hazardous load, and through the finite element simulation analysis, the stress concentration at the place where the maximum By finite element simulation analysis, under 4 000N pressure, the stress concentration at this place is the same as that at the maximum shear stress, and the two are superimposed on each other, which makes the coating roller fracture here. Therefore, based on the above results,a size optimization analysis was carried out,and a progressive deformation coating roller structure was proposed, and the analysis results show that the stresses are within the range of use requirements.
