Taking the"Introduction to High-Speed Railway"course as an example,this paper explores effective approaches to incorporating ideological and political education into professional courses.Firstly,it analyzes the curriculum orientation and current status of ideological and political integration.Secondly,it proposes an integrated design that incorporates ideological and political elements into classroom teaching,along with key principles for implementing such integration.Finally,by leveraging teachers'subjective initiative and emphasizing a combination of various teaching methods at both macro and micro levels,this paper provides valuable insights for promoting curriculum development regarding ideology and politics within other engineering majors.
