This experiment systematically studied the effects of quenching and partitioning(Q&P)treatment on the microstructure and properties of 18CrNiMo7-6 steel. The results indicate that the Q&P process can effectively increase the austenite content in the microstructure, thereby enhancing the impact toughness and elongation of the material while maintaining its tensile strength.Initially, during the partitioning stage, the tensile strength is relatively high, and the elongation is comparatively low.As partitioning progresses, the tensile strength decreases with time, while the elongation increases. After the partitioning is completed, both the tensile strength and elongation initially decrease, then increase again with further partitioning time.
