This article introduces the laser surface treatment methods and the application principles of CO2 lasers,semiconductor laser and YAG laser are introduced.The main failure mechanism of injection mold is described.And proposed to use laser quenching to solve the problem of injection mold.The laser quenching treatment cases of P20,718,H13 and 45 steel used in injection mold are described.
