Optimization Design of the Excavator Cab Frame Welding Fixture with Special-Shaped Clamps
Taking the welding fixture's irregular-shaped clamp for the cab frame of a certain model of excavator as the object of structural optimization design,parametric modeling of the three-dimensional modeling software was used as the basis,and the finite element software ANSYS Workbench was utilized to conduct a static analysis on fixture's irregular-shaped clamp,obtaining the deformation and stress distribution of the irregular-shaped clamp.Based on the simulation results,structural improvements were made to the clamp.surface-based size optimization and structural optimization were conducted on the improved clamp body.The mass,deformation,and stress distribution before and after optimization were compared,and the showed that the mass,total deformation,and maximum equivalent stress of the optimized clamp were reduced to varying degrees.
