Application of Distributed Fiber Optic Acoustic Sensing Technology in Monitoring the Status of Coal Mine Belt Conveyors
As an important component of the coal mine transportation system,real-time monitoring of the operating status of belt conveyors is crucial for ensuring the safety of coal mine operations.Traditional state monitoring technology has limitations in comprehensiveness and efficiency, making it difficult to meet the monitoring needs under complex working conditions.Distributed Acoustic Fiber Sensing(DAS)technology, with its advantages of long-distance monitoring and high spatial resolution, provides a new solution for the status monitoring of belt conveyors.By installing sensing optical cables on the belt conveyor system,it is possible to accurately capture abnormal vibration signals at all positions along the line, and obtain fault status information at each position of the belt conveyor through signal analysis and processing. The basic principles, system structure, and common signal processing and feature extraction methods of DAS technology were introduced. At the same time, the application of machine learning in belt conveyor fault diagnosis was discussed, emphasizing its bright prospects in DAS based belt conveyor status monitoring. Finally, the future development direction of DAS technology was given an outlook on coal mine monitoring.
