The Influence of Cobalt Content on the Hardness Uniformity and Corrosion Resistance of the Laser Cladding Layer on the Outer Circle of Coal Mine Hydraulic Support Columns
Four types of iron-based alloy powders were designed for laser cladding of the outer circle of coal mine hydraulic support columns. The influence of cobalt element on the hardness uniformity and corrosion resistance of laser cladding layer was studied. With the continuous increase of cobalt content, the difference between the highest and lowest hardness of the cladding layer gradually decreases from 133.2 HV to 16.6 HV,and the average hardness of the cladding layer also shows a linear decrease.Through analysis,it can be concluded that the matrix phase in the cladding layer was composed of martensite and ferrite. The low cobalt content cladding layer has a higher proportion of ferrite phase and a lower proportion of martensite phase, and the carbon element content in the martensite phase is higher than that in the high cobalt content cladding layer, which is the essential reason for the hardness fluctuation. With the increase of cobalt content, the corrosion resistance of the cladding layer was improved. This is mainly due to the addition of cobalt promoting the increase of high-temperature austenite phase, reducing the carbon concentration of martensite phase in the cladding layer, and improving the hardness uniformity and corrosion resistance of the cladding layer at the same time.
