Design of Coil Structure for Directional Electromagnetic Wave Instrument while Drilling in Underground Coal Mine
The directional electromagnetic wave instrument while drilling is an important component of the geological guidance drilling detection system for formation interfaces and abnormal bodies.Existing instruments are commonly used in the petroleum industry, and there has been no related research in underground coal mine.Compared with the coal industry, petroleum instruments usually have disadvantages such as large size and high power consumption. To solve this problem, the overall design concept of the instrument structure was elaborated, and the structural design of the coil cover, drill collar, coil slot, coil bottom liner, and their impact on the instrument response were introduced.Taking into account the two important factors of measurement signal response strength and mechanical strength,an instrument housing that meets both exploration performance and drilling strength was designed, and the characteristics of the influence of the instrument structure were mastered to provide theoretical basis for instrument design and practical application.
