Capital is an"artistic whole",in terms of its structural art,that is,the wholeness of the creative process,structure,and methodology of Capital.This is due to Marx's unparalleled conscientiousness and strict self-criticism as well as his research methods and narrative methods;Marxist philosophy,political economy,and scientific socialism are integrated in Capital as"The Three Critiques"which constitutes a holistic unity in the sense of"transdisciplinarity"This is due to the primacy of Marx's title before all else a revolutionist and the historical task of Marxist philosophy.To fully complete the historical task,the three must be integrated,and the relationship between them must be understood in their mutual interpretation.More importantly,Capital not only focuses on displaying"real men and their historical development"but also reveals the"real history"constituted by"real men and their historical development"It is the science of real men and their historical development.Therefore,Capital is not only the concentrated manifestation of Marxism as"a whole block of steel",but also a most scholarly work which has a claim to be regarded as most strictly scientific,achieving an organic combination of science and art.
