German idealism insists that concepts,thoughts and ideas are independent.By means of conceptual dialectics,German idealism tries to reveal the truth of the world and the history,regarding the whole human history as the history of pure idea,and regarding human beings as external tools of human history.In order to understand how Marx and Engels overcame German idealism,the systematic interpretation of"why does ideology'has no history'"becomes the most important task.In concrete terms,this task can be divided into three parts:the first part is to shed light on how the material mechanism of production works from a philosophical point of view,and then,based on the theory of universal production,to shed light on how the production of consciousness and mentality is determined by the material mechanism of production.The second part is to show,based on the objective historical process of human beings and historical facts,how the production of consciousness and mentality is limited by realistic economic relations.The third part is to emphasise that only through the revolution of the mode of production can the free development of all people be fully realized.Therefore,Marx and Engels revealed the deep reason why does ideology"has no history"and showed that only"in the history of the development of labor"can we find"the key to understanding the whole history of society",which becomes an important theoretical part of historical materialism.
