Rosa's Critical Theory of Social Acceleration and Its Limitations
Rosa's accelerated critical theory the time dimension to reflect on modern life,and argues that it should start from the time dimension and construct a critical theory of social acceleration from three paths:critique of social time structure,critique of social accelerated drive,and critique of accelerated alienation consequences.Rosa thus systematically discusses the concept of social acceleration,the driving mechanism of social acceleration,and the new forms of alienation brought about by social acceleration,and attributes the root causes of alienation to the philosophical and cultural values of modernity's"absolute control",the logic of competition and the logic of growth of capitalism,and points out the way to overcome alienation should be based on the sociology of relations,re-establishing the resonance relationship between the subject and the world,and systematically discussing the connotation and characteristics of the resonance relationship,emphasizing that only through the establishment of the resonant relationship between the subject and the world can the ideal pursuit of a good life be realized.
